Sobre la Diablada
Danza altiplánica sobre la cual se han tejifo una seria de mitos, que van desde la existencia del bandolero Anselmo Belarmino, conocido como "Chiru Chiru" o "Nina Nina" , quien era un fiel devoto de la Virgen de la Candelaria y que sus robos servían para atender a los pobres.
Se dice que en una oportunidad cercado por los gendarmes y herido de bala, "Chiru Chiru" se escondió en el socavón, rezando a la Virgen de la Candelaria por el perdón de sus pecados, es en su agonía que ve acercarse un ejército de diablos quienes se disputan su alma, siendo interrumpidos por el Arcángel San Miguel, quien somete a los diablos, rescatando su alma y salvándolo de morir.
Otros refieren al derrumbe ocurrido en uno de los socavones mineros donde muchos de ellos fueron sepultados, ocurriendo, casi el mismo fenómeno de apariciones.
